Food Drive

 

Extravagant Realty was privileged to take part in this year’s 5^th Annual Realtors Against Hunger Food Drive, which locally benefits the North Shore INN and Soup Kitchen in Glen Cove. So many thanks to our supportive community for their generous donations, and a special thank you to Gem Craft Boutique and Home Fries for their assistance as food drop-off sites.           

The North Shore INN is a not-for-profit, volunteer based organization established in 1989 to help to feed families in the community. Hunger is a problem that does not discriminate, touching all ages, races, and nationalities, even on Long Island’s prestigious North Shore. The North Shore INN serves over 15,000 meals annually, including festive Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday dinners, complete with all the trimmings. Located in the First Baptist Church, the INN serves hot meals three days a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) from noon to 1pm.
